# Esports Elective Program

## OBJECTIVE

To offer students the opportunity to learn a range of technology skills, including game design, coding, and other tech disciplines, while improving their gaming techniques and understanding of the gaming industry.

Thryve will partner with experts in gaming and education to create a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with high school learning standards while focusing on Esports, gaming techniques, and technology.

Special training materials will be designed for students interested in learning about technology skills in line with military needs (e.g., cybersecurity, programming, strategic planning).

<summary><strong>Hands-On Learning</strong></summary>

Students will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned by working with cutting-edge gaming equipment and creating their own gaming setups or mods.

<summary><strong>Collaboration with Universities</strong></summary>

Thryve will partner with universities to create pathways for students to earn college scholarships through gaming and technology skills.

<summary><strong>Instructor Training</strong></summary>

Thryve will ensure that teachers and staff are trained on the maintenance of Esports labs, so they can help facilitate the program long-term.
